Christ Miracle Mission Worldwide began in 1989 in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, with its first service held at 7a Adebowale Street, Oke-Aro. The ministry later moved to 36 Ifelodun Street, Oke-Ijebu, Akure, which now serves as its National Headquarters. This humble beginning grew into a full-fledged ministry when it expanded to Lagos in 1995. The first service in Lagos, held on January 28, 1995, took place at the residence of Elder R.A. Alabi at 3 Remi Fani-Kayode, GRA, Ikeja, as an all-night gathering. Initially, services were held monthly, but the miraculous events that followed made it a sought-after gathering. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Lagos parish was officially established following the vigil service on September 27, 1996, fulfilling an earlier prophecy that Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi would only remain in Akure for eight years.
The first Sunday service in Lagos took place on September 29, 1996, in a rented space at Shola Motors Building in Oregun, Lagos, and continued for three years, marked by signs, wonders, and life-changing manifestations. This was a blessed and remarkable beginning of God’s purpose through Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi, with unforgettable testimonies from the congregation and daily additions to the flock. In March 2000, led by the Holy Spirit, the church moved to its current site, the International Headquarters at Akiode, Ojodu-Berger, Lagos, ending its reliance on rented spaces and establishing a powerful presence for God in Lagos and Nigeria.
The church’s vision to reach 168 countries began with the establishment of the International Headquarters. Today, Christ Miracle Mission Worldwide has parishes across all states in Nigeria and internationally in London, Ipswich (UK), Luton, Germany, New York, Midland Texas, Indianapolis, Florida, Dallas Texas, Illinois Chicago, Houston Texas, Canada, Ghana, Benin Republic, Paraku, South Africa, and Kenya, with over 400 pastors and growing.
In January 2015, the MIRACLE AND TESTIMONY CITY was inaugurated at KLM 50, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, Nigeria, marking a new chapter for the ministry as it continues to expand and fulfill its mission.
Our vision is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, bringing salvation to souls across over 168 nations.
