BASIC TEXT: Mark 5:21-34

KEY VERSE: For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. Mark 5:28

SERMON

When she heard of Jesus’ arrival in the city, she came in the press ‘in the multitude’ from behind and touched His garment. And Jesus immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about and said, who touched my clothes? You must understand certain things here, the anointing of Jesus is always at work despite the pressure of mankind and all that is required of you is for you to connect.

Abraham and Sarah forgot that despite the pressure for a child, God was still on the throne and unmoved. The pressure of your life and ministry does not move Him. He has great compassion for you but would not get confused about your testimony; He knows the right things to do even when all you see is confusion. The multitude of life battles and greatness of your mountain will not make Him resign as the Commander-in-chief. The Goliaths confronting you do not scare Him, He is more than enough and will turn in the press to face your direction for your manifestations and result.

Know that a hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of the overwhelming obstacles. Do not be afraid to have dreams and always believe in miracles. God has great plans of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end. Whatever you are dealing with now will soon pass. Hold on in the press and pressures of life and refuse to give up and while you wait on Him for an answer, virtue will flow to you as in the days of old and you will sing a new song.

Prayer:

  1. Father, I give You praise because You are always there for me
  2. Holy Ghost, flush out demonic pressures from all areas of my life
  3. I refuse to go ahead of God because of life’s pressures
  4. I refuse to make mistakes of any kind because of life’s pressure, Holy Ghost, help me
